Try being a small business owner. I have had one sick day and no vacations in the last 11 years.

People should call in sick when needed. When they don't I call in "well" for several days so I don't get what they have.

For parents it is a tough call, Parents have been threatened by schools with reporting their child for truancy without a doctors note when they miss 2 days, so they have to take more time off and pay the doctor for a note! then they get yelled at when their child sneezes once

I tried to call in sick to my part-time retail job a couple months ago, and was told by one Asst. Mgr I had to provide a doctor's note that day (it was a Sunday.) I couldn't go to the ER because insurance doesn't cover it, so into work I went. (1/2)

Can't afford to be sick for too long, so I stay home. Everyone should stay home when sick, it stops the spread of the illness.

Many go to work sick because of feeling pressure from their supervisor. Hard to stay home and recover when you’re feeling like you’ve disappointed, or angered, or undermined your own job security by staying home. So, we go to work sick.

Showing that men have far higher anxiety over losing their jobs than women. Why would that be, you should ask. Well, I can give a partial answer: Because men are typically the providers in the family

We talk about the wage gap, but regardless of all the SJW non-sense, women will not consider a man making less than them for a partner. Studies have even shown that the attractiveness of a man is tied to his perceived wealth, power, or fame.

These studies used the same man of average physical attraction and provided bios to the women. When the bios showed more wealth, more power, or more fame, the women rating him more attractive than when it showed mediocre results, even 'average' results.

Wives (and girlfriends) are also far more likely to bail on their men in times of financial distress, opting to cut out before it affects them. Most often, the woman can simply walk away and be free of it, while the man has to deal with it.
