No, Deputy Chief Troy Livingston: You meant to say, "Due to the actions of a prankster AND one of our police officers, we have a murdered, unarmed man."

I still want to know why the question wasn't asked... if it was a "supposed" hostage situation, why would he willingly have gone to the door to see what's going on. Someone holding hostage, would NOT have done that. So, shots should NOT have been fired.

This LA Puke should go to jail, but the trigger happy cop murdered an innocent unarmed man and THAT needs to be addressed as well!

False calls or false statements to police should definitely have steep consequences. He make fake calls multiple times? How has he gotten away with it? He should be charged at least with negligent homicide or something along those lines.

Another innocent man killed by cops because they're trained to shoot first, investigate later. With proper training this could have gone differently.

There you go blindly defending cops I'm not bashing, just saying they need more training Look at the Daniel Shaver video & explain why the guy needed to die There are so many videos out there showing how cops make things worse rather than de-escalating.

There I go? I asked a simple question. I'm guessing your answer is "I'm not." That being said, you probably shouldn't suggest more training in a field that you have 0 knowledge in.

Knew thats where you were going I have a right to express my opinion which is bases on research Cops shoot ppl at a higher rate in the US them in Europe The difference training Also cops have too much power need to be held accountable But whats your opinion whats the solution

If you know nothing about their training it kinda makes it a moot point. What if the training is flawless and the cop is just a dope? Much like this story, or Tamir Rice

Police training on use of force is less rigorous than military training There was a cop a couple of years back, & former soldier, who was fired for de-escalating an attempted suicide rather than shooting immediately. Other cops came in & shot even though he had it under control

Police are responsible for the discharging of their weapons and the damage that occurs. This individual is responsible for a prank the police are responsible for the murder
