The truth behind corruption, both left and right, must be brought into the light. Government employees not elected to their positions do not have the right to undermine those the people send to Washington on their behalf. Looking forward to this report.

Expressing an opinion to a lawyer friend that a candidate is an 'idiot', is NOT evidence of corruption (even if he happens to be correct).

If that was the totality of it, I would agree. However, it was not. Meetings discussing "taking risk" and plans regarding influencing elections are extremely troubling and not in the purview of FBI staff.

If that WERE the case, the elected official has undermined him or herself, via the use of methods outside acceptable parameters of conduct.

Few things. 1) What methods? 2) Strzok tasked, he wasn't tasked. He initiated the investigation. He was in charge of investigating HRC, who he wanted to win. 3) Does acceptable parameters of conduct include texting someone on a gov't phone that you are having an affair with?

3: Do you have ANY idea how many personal calls are made on goverment dimes? Ok, so slap him on the tallywhacker, and make him pay the treasury, any time & charges. Sheesh!

Look, we aren't going to convince each other. Strzok was head of CI and initiated election investigation. He stated that he couldn't let DJT win, and he was in charge of HRC investigation. And yes, gov civ's violate AUP's all the time-doesn't make it right.

Strzok wasnt head of anything, and was demoted when Mueller learned of the text exchanges. You are right that we wont convince one another, but my thinking is most closely expressed in a reporter's assessment, here:https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2017/12/18/peter-strzoks-insurance-policy-text-message-and-the-search-for-an-anti-trump-deep-state-smoking-gun/?utm_term=.458502c3b3cb …
