While you're at it, find out how they make perfectly good chargers stop working. Every time they do an update I lose the usage of an aftermarket charger.

It’s about time some stepped up to expose this manipulating ploy to stemulate their own sales by controlling their devices. This has been going on since day one. Betraying the trust of the consumer, this should be a BIG DOLLAR damages suit!

This kind of thing happen on my Mac. Kept being sent reminders to update software so I did. Then my computer stopped running programs, turning off etc. they told me at the apple store I shouldn’t do the update on old models. Had to buy new computer. $3000 later thanks
