Either you have open seating or you don’t. Seat saving seems to go against open seating.

I don't mind people saving seats unless it takes place in the exit row. I'm also biased since I'm 6'10". My question to Weinshanker would be: if someone like myself came along, who NEEDS an exit row seat to fit, would you give up your seat?

I once saw (had A1) an older couple pre-board then save 13 seats up front. I’m not joking. But Southwest doesn’t have a policy against it.
