What about a married couple with FOUR kids making LESS than 40,000 a year. Most families in this country do NOT make 100,000 a year.
-
Thank you, exactly our situation as well! I don't even know many families making $100,000. Maybe USA today is trying to point out how pointless this "tax cut" is for real people.
-
I'm not putting you down. I need help I'm one person with 3 making that and it's hell. How do you do it? Seriously. I need to know.
-
Agreed, but someone making less than $40k a year should have thought twice about having four kids. That’s a choice.
-
It is not always a choice. You have no idea how we ended up with four kids in our home, so you should check yourself before you go judging other families.

$4000 in charitable contributions? With 3 kids on $100k? Nope

How about a married couple w 4 kids and $40,000 annual income? Cause that's the real life situation facing most Americans. Guess we make too little to be considered worthy of a tax break. Thanks a lot, Congress.

Why is a family with 3 kids making 1/10th as much as the single "renter" pulling down a million a year getting a smaller tax cut? Oh, right, because the
@GOP favor the wealthy over American families.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

The problem here is that you are definitely NOT accounting for the health insurance hikes that will very likely occur due to the removal of the ACA mandate. Without that stick, only the sick and elderly will be getting insurance - the most expensive to insure.

Wait, the married couple with three kids saves less than the childless couple? Even with a doubled child tax credit? What’s driving that?
