Addie Collins Zinone was 24. Matt Lauer was in his 40s and newly married. She describes their brief consensual affair at the "Today" show 17 years ago as predatory. https://usat.ly/2j5bmTu pic.twitter.com/6prN8uIWxk

This one is insane. On Lauer's side here. She didn't get what she wanted out of the deal and felt used....many years later. To go back and call a consensual relationship something other than it was is just insane. It has to stop, ladies or it will backfire in a big way #FakeMeToo

Powerful men are easily brought down by accusations of sexual abuse. It happens often. Addie is doing exactly what I expected would happen. Women who consented to sexual impropriety, would play the victim card by trying to link themselves to actual victims of abuse.

Is shaming this guy & his family any further necessary? Consensual sex between adults is not a crime or even newsworthy. I sympathize with victims of sex exploitation/violence but this attention seeking behavior is deplorable. What does this individual hope to gain?

This isn’t assault. This is someone sleeping with a married man and now trying to profit from it. Get real honey.

This sounds more a whole lot more like regret than wrongdoing by Matt Lauer.

This is the revisionist history that will make other, true harassment/assault cases lose credibility.

No it doesn't seem to be a prerequisite anymore. When millenials started claiming they were overserved, rather than they drank too much.

No attack, just that if i drink too much, it was my responsibility. I wasn't "overserved" pushing the blame to others has become the norm in the past 10 years.

Millenials are the ones that came up with the term(transfering responsibility). Did you see the Dallas Police chief on the news complaing that she can't get millenials to work, they want nights and weekeds off and to be chief in 6 months?

Just an FYI, I wasn't trying to be argumentative, and that said. Merry Chirstmas to you and yours,
