While Congress has other ways to punish a president for trying to obstruct justice through impeachment, it remains an open question whether Trump could be prosecuted.https://usat.ly/2ArUeBi

No one should be above the law, least of all a president of a democracy. This isn’t Cuba or Venezuela

To answer that question, maybe we should just ask Forgettin' Jeff Sessions:https://www.politico.com/story/2017/12/04/jeff-sessions-president-obstruct-justice-bill-clinton-278517 …

A President CAN obstruct Justice. Sessions and many other GOPers voted that Clinton obstructed Justice while POTUS. No one is above the law. We ELECT Presidents and can REMOVE THEM from office if they are unfit, break the law or in the case of DT - BOTH!!!

Let's impeach him, then discuss the rest.

Get him under oath and he will perjure himself freely. Plus, he can be punished legally for obstruction of justice.

I used to listen to ridiculous right wingers talk about impeachment because they basically didn’t like Obama. Now I listen to ridiculous left wingers talk about Trump the same way. Stupidity knows no party.

Trump's actions and Obama's cannot be paralleled beyond the fact that they both held office of POTUS. So, where Trump has been involved in shady dealings to the point the FBI is investigating him, Obama had no such scandal under his name. Bengazi doesn't even come close to this.pic.twitter.com/3yW75ulSrA

I know, I know. This time it is the real thing. Just like Obama’s IRS scandal or the “Fast and Furious” scandal. The false hope of impeaching an elected president that you don’t like is what keeps ratings up. You can always vote against him in 2020.

Fast and furious & so-called IRS "scandals" don't hold a candle to the president being investigated for collusion with foreign powers to secure an election and obstructing justice. That's borderline treason.pic.twitter.com/3NxXFIxsNo

Well Kin the Rex, you might be right and Mueller might find something impeachable and congress might vote to impeach and charge Trump with a crime and then Trump might be found guilty and removed from office or (more likely) Trump will remain in office and run in 2020. We’ll see.

If one does consider him to be "chief law enforcement officer" and sees that he declined to enforce the law or attempted to deter enforcement, then he obstructed justice. The only consideration left is whether it was intentional or not.
