It will hurt all small business owners that are already stuggling and give the Major Corporations the edge again. This is what Trump and the GOP want.

It means that the internet is as it was before the Government attempted to bias it.https://youtu.be/6txA3pI0xJI

#NetNeutrality is another way of saying "Singular control", or "Information control". When you regulate actual information, you create the problem that you fear.

So he's saying that "because corporations haven't done the corrupt thing we don't want them to do YET, we shouldn't make any legislation to keep them from doing it later?"

That isn't what net neutrality is. It prevents investment into ISP infastructure. Those investment could go to startups who could topple those monoliths like Amazon, Twitter, Google, ECT who are actually pushing this legislation.

When something is expensive for consumers what happens? If regulations are low enough, producers go to those things which are expensive to earn profit. When they do that they increase supply, which lowers price and increases access to everyone.

Major industries know this. So, if you're already on top, like they are, they want road blocks to prevent competition.

Politicians like this because it allows them to run on the platform of Justice and equality, even if the outcomes are quite the opposite. It's hard to argue for what would have been an improvement. It's easier to gain favor by stoking fear in the now.

Big Business and Politicians both love these kinds of regulations because both profit.

Net Neutrality is NOT “open internet”. Just the opposite. It’s governmental politically motivated regulated favoritism.
