I don't think the city can be held responsible for a terrorist attack such as that. Let it go, and let him rest in peace. Good luck & my condolences.

Oh cut it out, Yes it's sad that their son lost his life in the attack, but the city should not be blamed for something out of there control. Things like this is what cause the price of insurance to go up.

59th Street down has been protected, but what about from 59th Street up, or are we all just supposed to take our chances?

Concrete barriers, placed from 59th Street down, blocking access to cars and trucks. However, bike lane starts near northern tip of Manhattan. Wonderful that bikers have a roadway to bike on, however sad that nearly 14 miles of trees and grass were removed to do it.
