Not surprising. And these directors sound weak and close-minded.

“Diversity” is an attempt at social engineering; to obtain a preferred outcome that could not naturally be accomplished on its own. “Diversity” adds zero value to a company and usually succeeds in dumbing it down.

That being said, not hiring the best people for the job to stifle diversity is detrimental ... equality of opportunity is the key

Why would it? Having the best people for the job reaching their potential is beneficial, regardless of sex, race, creed, or whatever else

Irresponsible to post this w/o the survey They surveyed BODs about board diversity considering diversity of gender, age, not just race

Also, they surveyed BODs about BOD diversity, which are probably not very diverse as it is. Hard to give an unbiased response.

Its a survey, not research. Basically the opinion of old fat men that oversee companies, about including other that old fat men on boards

So 43% don't care about the way you divide people by using terms like diversity?

Obviously the 16% don't recognize the benefit to the families and communities whose members were hired, promoted, or otherwise improved their economic situations because of diversity.
