Bryan Cranston said he could potentially see a way for Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey to redeem themselves in the future.https://usat.ly/2zJoW6s

I’d say that Cranston is concentrating on the wrong thing at this time. Society, and victims, ought to be concerned about what happened and how we can address the behavior of sexual predators in the workplace. At this time it’s not about these creeps. It’s about the victims.

Yeah. The wisdom (or lack there of) of his sentiments aside, I think we can all agree that this is not the appropriate time

Cranston are you smoking blue meth? Grown ass men who are rapists and predators do not change. They register as sex-offenders so everyone can watch out for them. They are pariahs!

NOT defending, but it seems your opinion is absolute. Is there no way in hell someone that clearly made a mistake could repent and, Idk, go to therapy or whatever & be rehabilitated? There's no hope? If that is the case send them to a desert island and let's be done with it!

Repenting and askng forgiveness not even in the same realm as one's established patterns of thinking and behaving. Ive 4given lots of people who never repented. Wise as serpents was Christ's advice.

Why would we want to? These are not very young men whose amygdala hasn't fully developed. These are grown, fully-baked men who have consciously traumatized their victim's psyches. It's a crime, literally. @BryanCranston

See, that is partly what upsets victims so much. Why are they always being asked to forgive and forget?

Well said by Mary Karr in 2016: "Underlying all these actions exists the apparently unshakable tenet that any expression of male sexuality is somehow normal and every man’s right, whether or not a woman on the receiving end is repulsed or upset by it."https://www.newyorker.com/culture/culture-desk/the-crotchgrabber …

The way to forgiveness is probably gone. For me, they would have a had to come@forward BEFORE they got caught and make amends starting there. Any time after and it just looks like them making up for having been caught - not truly sorry.

Anyone else surprised? Weinstein will be back making movies just like Spacey and everyone else exposed. They will host a couple of SNL shows and the women will be forgotten. And they will be caught again and again. There is no respect for women in our culture. Sad!
