Yeah but do you really need an AR15 to protect yourself? I dont see the point when you have a variety of other less lethal options.

I'm a petite woman. If a large man breaks into my house to rape, assault, and/or murder me, I'm not interested in "less lethal."

Correct, they are not the same. FAR more people are killed in automobile accidents in the US than by guns.

Yes, but there r laws galore for safe auto use. “Fun” cannot b a reason not to pursue more effective common sense gun control policy.

Laws galore? Tell me again. Who doesn't follow Laws? Oh that's right, criminals. Isn't murdering people against the law? If the gun becomes illegal, I seriously doubt a murderer will say: "better not kill people with an AR-15, those are illegal."

Hence - effective policy. Only thing we can do is make it harder for bad/crazy guys (ie BCD). If not one of those, different problem.

Your heart is in right place. However- since laws only affect the Law Abiding, Our focus should be on improving society as a whole. We need to bring back personal responsibility and empathy for others.

Maybe because the second amendment says "shall not be infringed". Alcohol, smoking and pharmaceuticals each kill more, but none of you hypocrites are freaking out about that 💁
