Something over 200 deaths is horrible. (NHTSA) 2016, 37,461 people were killed n 34,436 crashes, average of 102 per day. Outlaw cars now!

With so many more gun laws since 1960, it seems it isn't the guns but the culture that has changed. Who waged the culture war on America?
-
I’d argue that the culture is better as gun homicides down since 1980s with 100 mil more ppl. Gettin’ played by media.
-
Gun homicides are isolated more than ever and we find violence of all sorts to be perpetrated disproportionately by certain segments.

Australia has gun control laws that are proven to work but we love our guns so much that we allow military weapons on the streets.

No matter how you look at it in the USA, for as long as there are guns ownership and acceptance of revenge, mass murders will continue.

If you remove your fixation on “mass shootings”, is gun crime in America up or down over that same time frame? Asking for a friend.
-
It is up in the last 2 years but had been decreasing.
