Very selective headline, meant to demonize. ABC hack-piece by a lying producer Serena Marshall, also misquotes President Trump as saying, "previous administrations DID NOT EVER call grieving families" of fallen soldiers, repeating misquote again at end of piece as "NEVER called."

Trump actual quote: "If you look at President Obama and other presidents, most of them didn’t call... A lot of them didn’t make calls. I like to call when it’s appropriate.” New York Times article. Headline: Trump Falsely Claims Obama Didn't Contact Families of Fallen Troops

He said telephone calls, Times expands it to say all contact, including letters of condolence, which he never said. Are black congressional representatives trying to racialize everything? Are you and the Times helping them fan the flames?

If infer doesn't mean what I think it means, then imply doesn't mean what you think it means.

Wayne, Bas Wip inferred enough content to refer to a dictionary. Perhaps he is not as ineducable as we'd both presumed. Still waiting on his other clarification.

What could be added to that conversation to make those words any better. I'd have hung up on him. My husband would have hung up had I died.

Do you honestly think he was not aware of it his wife was called? Really? The White House event was political theater. Doesn’t change the fact Trump was making a statement of fact.
