Never miss an opportunity to jam the climate debate into our feeds. When there's record heat next year, lets bring this debate back up, Ok?

Hell yes..as the oceans heat up, the warm water is fuel for tropical storms & hurricanes. Oceans heating up largely due to carbon based fuel

And because humanity has seen fit to largely ignore climate warming, esp in the US, these events will increase in volume and intensity..

Only if you're adding chem trails of aluminum being sprayed in the air and haarp being used often . then I will accept your conspiracy .

Not only warmer atmosphere producing more water vapor, but Cat 4 storm stalling between 2 highs? Are the highs a result of #ClimateChange?

At this moment, does it matter. If we all stood up and said I Believe! Would the water go down faster? No? Then stop.

We had hurricanes Betsy and Camille in the 60s. What about in 1938, that hurricane had lowest pressure ever recorded with highest winds.

#Harvey not the first or last big hurricane for sure. Question is: will the big destructive ones come more frequently in the future?

I don't have all the answers, but I do know that 50+ inches of rain (& counting) over few days isn't "normal", certainly in modern history
