Another topic? These statues were put up well after the Civil War and during a height in open racism that we have not seen again until now.

She was born in 1930. The civil war was over 65 years before. If he was 15 when the war ended and she married at 15. He married at 95.

He was born in 1846 and married her mother in 1924. That means he married at 78.

Reminds me of President Tyler-he had kids late, and one of those kids had kids late. Tyler has living grandchildren.
