        Helmets need to crumble like car bumpers and get swapped out constantly. Average NFL player uses only 2 helmets all year.

        Helmet is to protect from facial & skull fractures. They do that well. No helmet can prevent brain injury.

        Not a convincing article. Still need long term study. Fourth paragraph said it best. Proper tacking technique, strong neck strength helps.

        That's the idea. Absurb to suggest the old helmet design, which hasn't changed much in decades, doesn't have room for improvement though.
