A Jeep could outrun a Tyrannosaurus rex, new research suggests. So, Dr. Ian Malcolm, you didn't need to "go faster." https://usat.ly/2tfzGFH pic.twitter.com/GypJLskA0l

There is no Jeep in this scene. Just two Ford explorers, two middle aged scientist/mathematicians, a cowardly lawyer, and two smart kids

In the movie, the Jeep DID outrun the T. Rex...the only reason it was catching up at first was someone was leaning on the stick shift.

I would much rather be in a tank than a jeep but if I was in an SUV I'd like to be in something more reliable than a Chrysler product

We believe a jeep is faster than a t-rex but no one questions a t-rex running after a jeep. Can a jeep outrun a rhino?

T-Rex was a giant mouth with legs. Even during its heyday, there was still plenty of big, slow-moving game to eat. Didn't need to run fast.
