Lapse in attention... just like left in car... NO EXCUSES... gun control is necessary. And that shows here.
Left in a car is absolutely different. Availability to a gun is like having a pool with no gate or locked cover.
Agreed but "lapse in attention by parents" is apparently an excuse given for both situations. Pool with no gate is unacceptable too...
The REASON pools require gates = parents cannot possibly sustain attention 24/7. Cars need signal for child in car; guns should be locked up
Just as kids need seatbelts & carseats.
I don't know how guns being locked up (legislated) ... that is what one would hope stricter gun control s needed. the idiot factor...
That is totally unconstitutional, per SCOTUS case Heller v. DC.
I wish everyone was just as or more concerned with the kids outside of the house with loaded guns killing people.
Why don't you mention that Accidental Shootings are at a Historic Lows? That Murders w/ Firearm have decreased by HALF since 1990?

Ah, I see a full court press on a hot button issue to deflect from another. #Newspeak
