This picture looks real alarming but the smoke you are seeing is 100% steam. All the news medias smoke stack pics are steam.

thanks to the EPA, nobody knows what pollution causing smoke stacks look like anymore, so they use stock pics.

I grew up in Los Angeles in the 70s and can tell you what is like to live & breathe in smog 24/7.

I believe it....but the smoke stacks the media keep showing is just steam....mostly cooling towers.

I know. Often contacting the journalist directly can help them understand that the pic they choose isn't correct.
