        The debt is due to the extreme rises in tuition and fees. As both go up, so does student debt.

        I'm a Navy Vet, used all of GI Bill still had loans. The extreme rise in tuition cost is the problem

        I have a kid in college that I'm paying for. $14k/yr =$56k in 4 yrs. Why? Cost is the issue.
