Interest rates should always be around 5%. This balances income to savers and the serious decision to take out a loan. Money should not be cheap. It warps the economy. No reason for stocks to tank. Our economy survived 17% rates in the 80’s!!

Since the President is the spokesman for the nation and its citizens...should his opinion of the management of the country's 'monetary policy' be relevant and heard?!

Trump should get rid of it. We don't need a Fed to make our money and charge us for it. The government can do this on it's own interest free.

He could, but he'll never stay on subject. He'll meander onto other subjects, on and on and on, never finishing the subject at hand. Example:pic.twitter.com/i1ftdwGOMO

Fed policy is run by a bunch of anti-Capitalists because that who seeks positions like this in the first place. Why is it the fed always feels the need to quell a booming econmy by raising interest rates? I’ll tell you, it’s because a booming economy threatens the fed.
