It's the responsibility of an ethical news outlet to ensure articles are at least factually correct regardless which political party places the op-ed. There appears to be many lies in the Trump op-ed

This is the president of the United States less than a month away from midterm elections being given free campaign space to lie about the opposing party. This isn't about personal opinion. You published a FREE campaign ad for the Republican party.

This morning
@USATODAY ran an op-ed in which "almost every sentence contained a misleading statement or a falsehood," according to the Washington Post fact checker. What a humiliation for everyone who works there.https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2018/10/10/fact-checking-president-trumps-usa-today-op-ed-medicare-for-all/ …Thanks. This is nothing like "any other submission" - it's from the most powerful man in USA. Your blatant disregard of the truth, lack of fact-checking, vetting or any commentary to alert readers to the lies is irresponsible & dereliction of your duty to your readers & America

Or... you could do your job and point out that the claims are not factual. Plenty of evidence to go around. It's not like he is an anonymous person boasting about himself, with no way to refute it. He didn't state an opinion, he presented it as a fact.
