Who is this drama queen writing this pathetic article?! This is a slap on the face of Osaka, who played brilliantly and deserved her win. Serena is NOT above the rules and her attitude on the day was appalling!

This is such b.s. The sexism thing just does not apply. Of the Top 10 highest fines given to players, 9 out of the 10 are MEN! Guess who #1 is? Serena! She is not and never has been a sportsmanlike player. Greatest of all time, sure. Sportsmanlike; nope!https://www.therichest.com/rich-list/the-biggest/10-of-the-biggest-fines-in-the-history-of-tennis/ …

Shes been penalized similarly by women before. Was losing badly before this. I don't buy it

The point is not that the penalty came from a man it’s that a man doesn’t get that penalty called.

Do a little research, this same ref has penalized male players too. Besides Serena has a history of verbal abuse towards refs and linemen. This wasn’t her first time.

Oh my God, Serena lost because Naomi outplayed her! Does anyone remember Naomi?? The woman who played her heart out and DESERVES the trophy! But instead, everyone is whining about how a middle-aged woman was so picked on! Absolutely ridiculous!!!

I object to the argument that the championship was stolen from her. Osaka was the better player who broke Williams more than 4 times. This idea is insulting & disrespectful to Osaka. Serena was outplayed

Totally disagree. This was about Serena selfishly getting angry when the rules were being correctly applied.

Yes, he was, but I don’t think it was as finger-shaking for him as it was to Serena. McEnroe was just the “Bad Boy of Tennis”.
