Osaka is the first Japanese citizen to win a Grand Slam title. She did it by beating her childhood idol, Serena Williams, who won her first of 23 Grand Slam titles in 1999, when Osaka was not quite 2 years old.https://usat.ly/2QcOS2h

Something tells me you guys don’t like Serena Williams. Your last post said Serena’s behavior diminished her. You do understand that male tennis athletes say and do a lot worse, but there’s no repercussion. Do you have a headline about how disgraceful they behave? I’m waiting.

1 I Like Serena. 2 I never approved of poor sportsmanship.. period. Lastly.. congratulating someone on a victory is called being polite and recognizing their accomplishment.

        1. My reply wasn’t to you. 2. How is defending yourself against what you think is inaccurate ruling poor sportsmanship? 3. When the crowd was booing Osaka, Serena defended her. 4. If Serena was being out played how wa her defending herself going to change that?

When I drive by a cop at 79 mph and he lets me go, I can’t bitch about the next cop that chooses to nail me for it! Especially if I just got TWO “speeding tickets”... a bit undecided on this one.

You do realise even John McEnroe got penalized. US open 2018: 23 penalty's for men, 9 for women. Get your facts straight.
