Oh come one @USATODAY you could have at least used the picture of Naomi for this tweet. She did just become the first Japanese player to win a grand slam.

Serena was already losing when her coach's coaching fucked it up, then she lost it properly, and then totally lost it. So, shamefully, did the crowd. Fuck 'em all. Well done Osaka.

What a drama filled game. I feel bad for both women . Osaka was incredible but what s bummer that there was so much drama! Serena gave a wonderful speech and really tried to make Naomi feel better.❤️

Serena’s coach admitted to coaching. Serena is a fantastic player and wonderful ambassador for women’s tennis, but it was Naomi’s day.

Serena played the sex card and the referee held his ground. Good win for Naomi and hopefully Serena will learn rules are for superstars too.

So, when men curse at the ref they should lose points too?? Did u see what the coach did? Serena wasn't even looking at him. He was back seat driving. U don't watch the person doing that, u keep eyes on the road.

Being a tennis player I have seen many instances where men have been penalized too. You can't call the umpire a thief and think you won't be penalized. Rules and sportsmanship is what tennis is all about.

Have seen men curse and not given penalty. Have seen men berate officials and not be penalized. Have seen coaches giving hand signals, no penalty. Just asking for one set of rules and be consistent. I understand Serena's frustration. Doesn't mean she would have won though.

Poor calls or not, her behavior was beneath that of a proven American Champion. She let the situation get the better of her.
