I'll bet the couple who reported it were white or non existent.

African-American. It’s stated twice in the article that I’m guessing you didn’t read. Still prejudice, regardless of who made the complaint.
-
Question how would the officer know is that something that would be asked by the dispatcher in the call, or would the caller identify themselves as African-American? In research it is not sufficient to simply take things at face valve but to do your due diligence and question.
-
The article said they were flagged down by a couple, not responding to a 911 call. Although to your point, it makes the scenario a lot more convenient for them.
-
To quote the article, "That couple, who had been told by police to stay at the scene, had left when officers returned and have yet to be located to get a formal statement." Yes, I'm still going to reserve judgment until they formally make the statement.
-
Well until proven otherwise I'll say this "couple" doesn't exist.

So, a black couple supposedly saw the “Grandson” robbing his Grandmother at the light, from the backseat of a car, and then turned around and told the Officer? Is this what they are saying, now they can’t find the black couple? Were they Pedestrians or Driving? When did they

see this alleged robbery? What is the description of this couple? Could this simply be a case of racial profiling by the Police if there are no legitimate witnesses? If, the Police can’t provide the so called witnesses they just dug a hole so much deeper for themselves. Falsified

but, but...just comply

-
They did comply! Everyone was mature except the GD racists who called the police.

The story gets interesting. The cops say a black couple reported it but now they suddenly can't find them. I'm curious if they ever existed at all.
-
Voiceover: They didn’t.
-
even if they do exist people need to realize black people could be racist towards other black people unfortunately
-
Yeah. I think we've all met someone like that.
-
For sure. And lemme tell you, white people who don't get racism? They really don't get this.

This is one of my fears bc I’m a white woman of a “certain age” and my son is black. Now that he’s 13, I’m afraid that someone will interpret his normal teenage talk back as him threatening me or worse.

-
This situation is so messed up. I hope your fears never come true. - 1 more reply
