Encouraging any participant in a riot to commit violence will not help things get better. Offenders n both sides of this disaster should be punished harshly. They created a situation in which people died, and it did not need to happen.

You know I used to share that idea. But you can’t tolerate intolerance, so when someone calls for violence, discrimination, and/or dehumanization of other peoples, you have to fight back.

You won't cure violence and intolerance with violence. That's the path that the lunatics of "Antifa" and the KKK have chosen, and there is no defending any of those killers. Antifa just gives rise to other hate groups. Use the law.

In a normal, reasonable society, you are correct. But bigotry has become the accepted & promoted norm & cannot be allowed to continue to grow & fester at the very roots of this country. Even Christ showed anger & God violence in the face of injustice. Bias defies basic humanity.

Aside from some really obnoxious statements from the President, how has bigotry become the norm? There has always been bias in every country, it's not a recent invention. It hasn't just arisen in America from 2016 onward, and it's not confined to one group or another.

Those "really obnoxious" comments from the president of the USA go very far in inciting, encouraging & promoting bigotry in those people & groups looking for a reason, approval to hate. They are exercising, spreading & teaching that behavior against races, colors & religions.

I agree that the obnoxious statements hinder progress, and I sincerely wish he wouldn't do that. But I would still rather have him than have some socialist ruining the economy and weakening our national sovereignty. I don't want us to be submerged in some one-world government.

Fears of sovereignty & world power are being realized NOW Let's see a chart with 4 lines. (A)with corporate profits. (B) with average (per hour)wage earned increase. (C) cost of living. (D) National debt. If the general economy is so good why is there such disparity?Wait til tax.

So, it's ok to assault people now?? This is a dangerous precedent.

I don’t know what this guy did or did not do, but this sets a bad precedent. If you don’t agree with someone, or you find their ideas distasteful, you can assault them? Should I find a pro-choice person who is KILLING BABIES and assault them just because I feel that’s right?
