Ron DeSantis can't explain it away: His warning that Floridians shouldn't "monkey this up" by electing his black opponent to governor smacks of race baiting at its worst and lack of common sense at its best. @usatodayopinionhttp://usat.ly/2wyKhhN

I say "your darn tootin", am i at risk of offending folks who fart a lot?i t's a figure of speech, nothing to do with skin color/race. Relax. I heard John Sununu say "Cleavage" in its proper context on @CNN and #AlisynCamerota asked him to repeat as if she caught him. #Lightenup

We all know what he meant. Anyone with Good morals shouldn't vote for him. However, many in America lost their morals in the 2016 election. So I guess it's business as usual.

Sounds like the left is trying really hard to make a race issue from nothing because they know that’s the only card they can play. Sit down and reflect. Who’s really keeping racism alive?

Who actually says "monkeys with" anyway. Only explanation is that he used it in reference to race.

There is nothing racist about this quote “The last thing we need to do is to monkey this up by trying to embrace a socialist agenda with huge tax increases bankrupting the state. That is not going to work." He’s not even referring to a person, the subject is voting. English 101!
