A relative of Mollie Tibbetts spoke forcefully online against the political rhetoric surrounding the Iowa student's killing.https://usat.ly/2PCVzKv

Racist and false rumors because it’s true that an illegal alien using someone else’s ID Murdered Molly? And if we enforced our immigration laws this would not have happened?

Since crime rates of US citizens are higher than crime rates of undocumented aliens, perhaps we should remove all US citizens to improve our safety?

For everyone statistic that says this there’s another that disputes it! You can buy any stat you want just depends on how much your willing to pay!

https://www.factcheck.org/2018/06/is-illegal-immigration-linked-to-more-or-less-crime/ …. It is fair to say the research on this is not completely in agreement, but the majority of studies support my statement. Clearly, we can all agree that this was a horrendous crime. Similar crimes are far too common, most often perpetrated by US citizens

Why is it so hard to understand that ANY crime committed by an illegal is one that wouldn't have happened if enforced immigration law kept them out? Not here = can't commit crimes here. In other words, Mollie and many others would still be alive.

See it for what it is not what you want it to be. Unfortunately, she was killed by a person that was in the U.S. illegally. If he had not entered the country illegally she would still be alive not negative rhetoric a fact. Lack of a comprehensive policy is the fault of congress.

He could of still killed her if he was over here legally. It was just a horrible act done to this beautiful girl by a sick person. Prayers!

You're missing the point. He wouldn't have been in the U.S. at that location at all.

The man IS an illegal immigrant. The man IS guilty of murdering Mollie. The man WOULD NOT have killed Mollie if he’d been deported. How is any of that a false narrative. Even when confronted with facts, Democrats stick to the agenda.

Most of these people would likely have no problem using someone who died to support a narrative of theirs even against the families wishes. They do every time there is a mass shooting. We’re told, “It should be made about politics- if it saves just one life!” Hypocrites!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family. But trying to use this as a political campaign is so wrong in so many ways and levels from top to bottom

Only wrong because it conflicts with your idiot narrative. Why don’t you take in a few illegal families and pay their insurance, food, housing. Why do you think we need more illegals here that immediately go on the dole?

How can it matter not? If immigration law was enforced, he wouldn't have been here, couldn't have killed her. That's a big deal. In effect the politics the family supports killed one of their own.

Were the cops here illegally? If not, what's that got to do with this? Enforcing immigration law wouldn't have kept them from being physically present.

Enforcing decency might be more important, regardless of where you’re from. That would be my point. You’re focused on the wrong thing. Do you think a taller wall would have worked?

He didn't scale any wall to get here I assure you and it's the accepting attitude such as sanctuary cities, assistance, etc. that exacerbates the problem.

I’d be much more inclined to spend millions of dollars to enforce laws rather than build a big beautiful wall (which I don’t think The Donald ever intended to do in the first place).
