His “scathing” letter is nothing more than a temper tantrum. Revoke his clearance. McRaven’s letter is an embarrassment to security leaders and veterans. He’s supposed to set the example for professionalism. Instead he demonstrated conduct unbecoming.

It's too bad our elected officials don't have the same integrity & guts.

Darn security clearance should AUTO-terminate upon leaving the job. Why does this admiral dude still need to have the clearance?

They maintain their clearance in order to be of assistance to the next person to do their job. Its customary practice, unless of course a dictator is trying to silence his critics. Then it is customary to do as 45 did. Thats why people are trippin.

The clearance can always be reinstated as needs arise, if the successor requests the predecessor's assistance. Freedom of speech has zero tie to the clearance. Everyone is talking, critiquing and criticizing freely now, more so than ever.

Criticizing, and talking for good reason. Never have we had such an incompetent, egotist, sitting in the Oval office who has shown his utter failure to receive objective truth. A propagandist with a cult following who honestly believe that facts are relative. #factsAreObjective

23 year Naval Officer. McRaven's clearance should have been pulled when he retired like everyone else who does same. Same for all these pundits on the airwaves.
