I don't think this is correct, in 1974 I only made 8.85 an hour working construction and a second job in filling station at 4.25 hr.. In 1979 when I went into Law Enforcement I mad 787.00 per month and no benefits. Someone here needs to do some math!

Calm down tough guy, what's being said is basically prices are going up faster than salaries If price of product x goes up but my salary does not then my real wages have decreased
