Now my question is was the 11-year-old girl African American or white and was she carrying or brandishing any type of weapon, cause if she wasn't the officer didn't have to taser.

If she was a minority, officer will get paid leave. If she was white officer will get fired

Jesus, the first comment is about race, the others are mocking a kid for getting tased. I'm sooo proud of the adults on here for knowing that stealing is wrong, but do you think the cop could have maybe caught her? She's 11, if a cop can't outrun them then they shouldn't be a cop
-
With a taser they don’t need to put run them. Maybe we need to teach people respect for law officers.
-
And the OFF DUTY officer moonlighting as a security guard had a chance to do that, right up to the point when he tased her in the back at a grocery store.

How do you know the kid was hungry? How do you know she wasn't stealing makeup or something?
-
Because the police said so

Cue people blaming the officer instead of the girl who was stealing and trying to flee.
-
Cue the ignorant people who come out to defend cops no matter what.

That concern over a few dollars in loss just cost a few million and at least one job.

Next time don’t steal
-
Or he could just arrest her. There’s always that option
-
Or he could've just called her parents because she's fuckin' 11 and was only stealing from a grocery store..
-
Exactly.
-
You’re right but when u run you give the cop the power to make a power move like a taser to the back this might not be the first time she stole she just got busted this time and now the family is going to try to win the getto lotto and blame the system
-
The cop was off duty. I'd run if a random person was trying to grab me.
-
Especially a little girl. Clearly that cop is unfit for the job
