Sounds like allowing insurance companies to make medical decisions has come back to roost.

Hospital systems and insurance companies are taking better care of their administrators and executives and need to of take better care of their frontline nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers so they can provide better care.

It's because federal money goes to murdering babies instead of saving mothers.

This story leaves out how increased and more accurate data collection would lead to higher numbers and how influenza affected sepsis numbers.

ObamaCare would force following guidelines, not reduce them.

Basically, all the countries with Single Payer healthcare doing better than for-profit health care here in USA.

I'm hoping things will improve w intervention. Read every word and it's difficult 2 believe things that 'went wrong' 4 these mothers and their families.

Seems odd that Canada was already low and has risen slightly (we know the real difference between us and them is healthcare systems) while other countries reduced the rate over the past 30 years

And this is directly related to the US lack of access to health care. #Universalhealthcare.

You need to get the side of the story of the nurses and physicians on this. I’m hoping nurses and doctors who care for these patients begin speaking up about their challenges in providing the needed care in the first place-like staffing issues & shortages & hospital admin issues

This sounds like something written by infowars and Alex jones. I would like know who the players are in this story and where the money involved is going. And there’s money somewhere. And details I need details. We’re theses mothers really not treated or delayed that much or 1/2

Most of the Medicare and Medicaid standards are crap. It involves clicking the right button at the right time in the EHR. And BTW the electronic health record is a disaster worse thing to happen to health care since Obama.
