No they didn't. It was stated numerous times in the article.

I’m quite sure the bizarre Californians voted in a State Law that somehow allows it.

My local DMV is full of slow, non caring wastes of oxygen who give out inaccurate info on a daily basis. When I complained to the supervisor the bleach blonde cow replied, "So what" #RiversideCounty

Aren't the long wait times the norm? I think it is even written in their forms in fine print "DMV will work as slow as possible and innacurately as possible". @CA_DMV

If it's not on paper it didn't happen . The supervisors are more at fault than Sleeping Beauty. If they properly documented her behavior at work she could be disciplined . If she had a legitimate medical condition they could have refereed her to a medical professional.

Read the comments after the article - went right to race and politics. This isn't a race issue. This isn't a political issue. This is a right or wrong issue. Employee needed medical help and didn't get it. Supervisors allowed it and did nothing.

The women who work at California DMV enjoy seeing people suffer in frustration from waiting for hours just to get simple paperwork / Data entry done.

And?! And the taxpayers of CA don’t want their $$ going to someone who sleeps on the job. And they should’ve been fired immediately. And, they should’ve been made to pay back the $$ they took for sleeping.

This has absolutely nothing to do with Trump. Who by the way, doesn’t sleep on the job. As a matter of fact, people marvel that a man his age works the number of hours he does.
