After downing the spicy snacks, 17-year-old Rene felt sick to her stomach. A hospital trip later resulted in her gallbladder removal.https://usat.ly/2JQMJoz

People need to realize that takis and hot-cheetos is like cocaine... Too much can send you to the hospital....or the toilet.

Putting this mom on NOTICE! Be a parent, you allow them to eat HOW MANY LARGE BAGS A WEEK? Now you going to blame the wonderful chip makers? It's YOUR fault! Trying to pass the blame. Absolutely #shameful!

Cheetos are not going to screw up a gall bladder however if this person had a bad gall bladder and had not symptoms up to that point, then the spice could possibly have brought on an attack. Before my surgery I could NOT eat anything spicy etc.

Um it sounds like she had an awful lot of them. It wan’t just a case of “she ate some and her gall bladder went bad.”

I am sick of people blaming others for their own stupidity. Who bought these bags of junk that she brought to school. MOM sounds like since she knew her daughter loved them and would bring them to school with her. Sorry mom take the blame yourself. This victimhood needs to stop.

Actually if she'd looked up while she was eating her chips she'd have noticed the alien chem trails in the sky, raining down gallstone gas.

4 big bags a week. You know how much fat she gets from that. Spicy foods can irritate the stomach so don;t eat them. Look at South Americans and other cultures that eat tons of spicy food. They are fine. Gallbladders can only handle so much fat.

Fat content is more likely the cause. Not the spice. How could a parent allow a kid to eat so much junk. Not the snack companies fault. The parents should not buy it or talk to her about her choices. 4 bags a week. How do they eat at home. greasy food? To much H2O can kill. Excess
