Oh please. Next time they won’t call and the store will be robbed and someone could be hurt. There’s no story here except a good cop doing his job.

How is this news? Clearly law enforcement was called in an effort to PROTECT this business. #moreMediaIgnorance

Police seemed fine here. Silent Alarm went off of course they’ll ask for ID. I’d hope same thing happened if I was business owner. Sure it’s embarrassing but seems like things were good. Hands on hip near gun is how you’re trained to prevent gun being unholstered

I WOULD HOPE THAT IF SOMEONE SAW ME BREAKING INTO MY BUSINESS and they did not know I was the owner, well I would HOPE THEY WOULD CALL THE POLICE ... the biz owner should be THANKFUL in that case for a watchful eye of the person who called, no?

It’s happened to me as well when I was opening my store. I am a white American male. The media did not highlight when the police asked me for ID. Why make this into a race thing? To me, the police were just doing their job. Would be fantastic to end racism instead of pushing it

Don’t blame the police, they were just doing their job. If anyone is to blame, it’s the citizen who called in the unfounded report.

I’m certain the person that called police knew this man was the owner of this business, and wanted to make him have a hard time because damn racist.

The Police seam super respectful while performing their duties. Stop slapping racial background to any white-black interaction. People soak it and become paranoid.

Weird how most of these are happening in liberal cities like San Francisco. I think it is indicative of projection when the left accuses people of racism and bigotry.

The person who called possibly didn't know that the man was the owner and just wanted it checked out. What is the harm of that, it all ended well.

there's no harm in it and i'm not saying who ever called it in wasn't trying to be a good citizen by doing so but come on it does sound rather laughable you gotta admit

It would help to know what time of day it was and if his business was operating at the time or was it because he was open and they called. That would help me in believing the racist claim.

Other than that I do find it laughable in that he is referring to it being racist for no other reason.

All of sudden we are hearing all of these so called racist cop callers. If it were the other way around the person claiming racism would never hear the end of it.
