Remember the restaurant server who said a customer wrote "we don’t tip terrorist" on his bill? It was a made-up story, the Texas restaurant now sayshttps://usat.ly/2LLu7YC

Social media got people addicted to attention. Racism is serious and false accusations just as serious. Not cool

It sucks that we live in a time when a story like this sounds true. I was pissed when I first read it. Now I'm still pissed, but at the idiot server for making it easy for people to not believe the next person this truly happens to. Theres enough real. Dont need to make ish up.

I wonder if the server felt that the reason the customer didn’t tip, which is inexcusable, was due to his race and then did the inexcusable himself?

Possibly! She/He should have thought it through to the point where she/he lost their job and will now receive poor references.

Virtually every news* organization -- USA Today included -- reported this as fact. It wasn't. But then they get offended when they get called out for their #FakeNews. Want to not be offended USA Today? Then stop reporting fake news.
