@BostonDuckTours Was amazing! The tour guide was also fabulous! Never ever will I say anything bad about the duck boats.
Not one bad thing to say? Even after they just killed 17 people, including children?
They didn’t kill anyone. It was the goddamn thunderstorm and last time I checked, you can’t control the god damn weather. People die on boats everyday everywhere. The media is just blowing this out of proportion.
Those people died because of negligence. Weather reports were out. The captain told them they had no need for life jackets. They are responsible for the deaths of 17 people period. Sorry, people are angry that 17 people died and “blowing this out of proportion”.
1/2 Your entitled to an opinion and unless there is a recording of the captain saying there is no need for lifejackets, there is no verifying it. Also, severe thunderstorms come without warning. They start out as a rain band, then pop up unexpectedly. Ask @NWS they issue warnings
2/2 when a thunderstorm occurs. Sure they can issue watches ahead of time, but they aren’t always right. EVEN IF the captain didn’t tell people to abandon ship, if common sense was used, people could of spawned life vests and abandoned ship.
If you've ever been in deep water when a Missouri thunderstorm blows up unexpectedly, it wouldn't matter what you're in.....you're going to be in trouble. A low profile vehicle only intensifies it.
Where is the other Table Rock incident? There was an on-board fire, if I recall, in the 2000s.
Where were their life jackets?
