It's an insult to journalism for him to include himself among the ranks. Host and/or personality is not analogous to journalist. I also kindly correct people when they call commentators such as Bill O'Reilly, Rachel Maddow, et al "anchors."

And this isn't the first time @MurrowNYC has called out the problems opinion media causes for journalism. https://rtdna.org/article/a_huge_problem_for_trust_in_journalism_opinion_media …

Until we get serious about educating our children, the ignorance perpetuates when civics and history take back seats to common core testing curriculum.

Sean Hannity is an extreme example, but American distrust in traditional media isnt an accident. Some "journalists" have inappropriately editorialized, selectively reported facts, or pushed a political angle.

This op-ed is a good start. Commentators like Hannity have coopted "journalism" to give themselves credibility and advance his politics, but he is hardly the only one. Trust needs to be rebuilt from the bottom.

I don't think anyone is confused. He's a talk radio host. He has an agenda. As do others. On all networks. There are no media virgins. And only a moron would think otherwise. Every single one, suffers from the "disease of me." They love only themselves!!!!

Yep, we know who / what Hannity is. Those who still call themselves journalists and won't admit that they are, or have become, analysts with an opinion also are the problem, and the one's complaining the loudest about being called out.

This is exactly how Trump got elected. Enjoy your echo chamber within your elitist bubble. Wandering aimlessly through the desert over the next 12 years of losing elections. But hey you’ve got “For the People” bumper sticker now. https://twitter.com/michaelrcaputo/status/1019941319660195840?s=21 …
