Emmett Till mother has already died, she needed justice when she was fighting and crying in a court room for it.

Isn't his accuser still alive?
-
Yeah she’s alive, she’s 84 and apperently writing a book about what happened
-
That book should get her indicted and sent to prison. ALL proceeds should go to Till’s relatives and not to benefit her or her family.

We ain't all equal in the eyes of the law. Jeff B. Sessions.

I thought she died and confessed on her deathbed that she lied about it....
-
Nahh. She's alive. I think in NC somewhere after being married a couple of times and moving. PBS or someone did a story.

A day late, and a dollar short.
-
It's never to late for justice, Emmitt Till had relatives, cousins, uncles, aunts who want to see justice served as well.
-
It depends on how you define justice. The people that did it are dead, and so are the family members that knew Emmett most intimately. We've always known it was an unjustified kill so an official conviction isn't shedding any new light.
-
We don't know that. The DOJ didn't release any details of the investigation they just opened today. Do not be so fast to jump to a conclusion.

Justice was not served. That woman lied and her husband killed this teen maliciously. How she sleeps at night is a wonder to me.
-
She sleeps good now that Trump's in the office
-
Isn't she dead now?
-
She just admitted she was lying
-
Ok I thought she admitted this on her deathbed

If Ms. Carolyn Bryant Donham was in her 20s today she'd probably cry out "Me Too" and have an innocent young man charged with sexual assault.
-
I agree.
