Some critics said Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's youth in Yorktown was inconsistent with her campaign narrative.https://usat.ly/2lOUIIT

I know the Bronx. This is absolutely not the Bronx. Suburban folks, get real, the Bronx hasn’t got a blade or leaf of green. Girl was living a life of privilege.

Be better. There are plenty of her positions you can write about/debate, so posting a picture of her family’s house and asking the Twitterverse how “Jenny from the block” she is is reductive and beneath the paper. Do better. Write about issues. Make America Smart Again.

If you're at all familiar with Westchester, then you'd know her home in Yorktown is right in line with who she says she is. #workingfamiliesareeverywhere

The problem is she is trying to deflect about where she lived. This issue will drag her down unless she just comes clean. Be honest and do not try to hide who you really are. People want honesty and transparency.

Her whole campaign was about being born and raised in the Bronx. She wasn’t.

I stand corrected still don’t consider it a real IVY school but it seems some do.

She went to BOSTON UNIVERSITY. But does it really matter. Trump went to Penn, and literally has a gold toilet so 🤷🏽‍♂️
