A new USA TODAY/Ipsos poll about patriotism finds an overwhelming majority of those surveyed say they are proud to be Americans. But they're split almost down the middle, 42% to 39%, when asked whether they are proud of America right now. https://usat.ly/2z3SvD0  #FourthofJulypic.twitter.com/gE858zTNNS

Even in the Obama years, conservatives would have said they are proud to be Americans...had you bothered to ask such a divisive question then.

I was very proud of America the country that pave way to many immigrants to have a second chance in life including my own father. I used to be very proud of America a country that once stood as the beacon of hope for many across all works of life. Under Trump I don't know anymore

Stop reading USA Today and watching @CNN ~ You're being brainwashed to hate our @POTUS ~ Is your father a legal citizen of the United States? @realDonaldTrump is enforcing the laws against ILLEGAL aliens~CROSSING THE BORDER ILLEGALLY. #WalkAwaypic.twitter.com/9Jsauonq09

What does that have to do with anything? Funny how most Americans seemed to have nothing but love for coastal elites after 9/11 but now they're just "coastal elites". "Coastal elites" are every bit American as rednecks and hillbillies.

Well that’s sad. Only 61% of Democrats are proud to be Americans no matter who is president. It should be 100% from all sides.
