Me, too. I've been with my credit union for years, and I have never had any issues with fraud. If there's suspicious activity on my acc't' the system locks my card until I call the toll-free number to verify that I am aware of the activity. CC's should be used for emergencies.

Because people would rather spend money they don’t have than the money they do have.

It's more because the U.S. has the credit score system and much better security in case of fraud etc. on credit cards

Meh most banks have fraud protection too. Americans are addicted to credit and most people live outside of their means.

Banks are charging more and more fees. You are also more protected against fraud with a credit card. With a debit card, you might not be able to pay your bills if your information gets stolen.
