The truth probably lies somewhere in the middle. Flight attendants can get a bit edgy, but watching the unraveling of civility around us makes me consider that people don’t like to be told what to do and act accordingly at times.

The geniuses at Delta can always just confiscate everyone's devices when they board the plane 😂

I fly a lot and when other passengers don't don't follow the rules it puts MY safety at risk! The rules of flying have been established for a reason and passengers should not have to be told multiple times to follow them. If you can't handle that, don't fly!

Why are you pointing out a black flyer as to a rude flyer.... I wish they would kick all these rude flyers off the plane. Tried of rude being expectable because people can cry they were on fair to me.

People are losing a sense of courtesy, respect, and decency. It is probably the cusomers’ fault as much as it is the airlines. Just because you disagree with someone’s viewpoint is not license to demoralize them. I think that idea will go a long way to help people chill.

I bet this report isn't telling us everything. Bet there was attitude on both sides. If you can't folly the safety policies, DON'T FLY!

I have never put my phone in airplane mode. And I've never been thrown off a plane. Hmmmm.....glad they took them off the plane. Flying is stressful enough without dealing with unneeded b.s. like that.

I want to say to all parties involved, “just practice common courtesy,” but sometimes no amount of courtesy matters when you’re a poc.

Safety and well-being of all passengers should be primary focus. Most regional aircraft are often unequipped with WiFi in passenger cabin. Although, use of cellular devices is permitted during taxi, FAA rules prohibit cellular use in-flight unless WiFi equipped. Plain & Simple.
