The cop deserves an accommodation not charges against him , he got a thug off the streets, 2 assault rifles in the car he ran from , that were involved in a shooting earlier that day.

That's just for show, by the time the process is done he will be charged with nothing and if not put back on the force will be given a nice severance package.

I'm against shooting unarmed people. But #USAToday should tell the full truth in the headline. These young men were just involved in a drive-by shooting. Plus, there were two guns found in their car. Tell the full truth. Stop trying to mislead people. #FakeNews Not choir boys.

Penn. law allows for the police to shoot a fleeing suspect, when he / she is suspected of having a gun

Another undisciplined trigger happy cop. Can’t wait for the ‘I was afraid for my life....it was self defense’ argument. Let’s see if he actually gets convicted

And I hadn’t even seen this on the news or a retweet or anything until @moworldwide retweeted this. That’s scary. It’s bad enough when they shoot unarmed men women but now shooting unarmed kids in the back? Cops who break felony law should get double punishment. This=death penalty

I got one will let the legal system play out in this one. Can't make a valid argument without all the facts. Anytime an unarmed person is shot, especially in the back, there is deep area for concern, and it's a tragedy, however what's the complete story. we shall see.

A lot of info missing. Why wasn’t the driver charged? Was he not driving a few minutes earlier for the shooting? Was there dna on the guns linking them to anyone in the car?

If that is the law, why was the officer charged?
