Would be hilarious if they blocked/slowed down all the porn sites.

people always bring up that before these rules, it wasnt that big of an issue, and blatantly ignore why these regulations were created in the first place. it was because isps were beginning to attempt to throttle and block sites. places like verizon were already doing so.

Also new things like Netflix getting squeezed by older businesses like Comcast. Netflix is large enough now that it can afford this environment. New tech and new startups can't always afford to pay to be top tier.

yep. then they say this spurs competition and that if you dont like your isp, just switch as if most areas in the us have more than two options. i just can never understand support for repealing these regulations.

You don't even know what Net Neutrality is. The only thing you guys see is "Obama" and automatically hate it. It's a regulation that helps everyone. Now, already corrupt and wealthy corporations will become even more abusive.

Um..no..it doesn't curb free speech. Removing it allows corporations to do that. If you look at what the Bush administration/banks/etc. did to this country back during his presidency--you should understand why SOME regulations were necessary. They're not all bad.

There's just as many anti-free speech assholes on the other side of things too. People just want to hear what they've been conditioned to agree with and fuck compromise and debate. America is becoming a wasteland of mediocrity and hypocrisy.

Wrong! ISP’s can now profitably invest billions in the race to 5G. Make no mistake this is a national security concern.

You’d know more about those sites than I do. Not sure why people are so upset. Literally every company sets their prices and allows customers to choose. Companies can now profitable invest in higher end networks and continue to innovate.
