Many of Jack Phillips’ customers said they oppose discrimination but also value religious freedom.https://usat.ly/2Hkte6n

I don't think using religion to deny service to anyone is worth celebrating. I'm assuming he's not a member of an exclusive sect-the Christian faith I believe in doesn't deny anyone membership. Regardless of your faith, if you choose to serve the public, you serve everyone.

So I can now discriminate against people like that, and say “religious freedom”?

You should feel compelled to. Or just close up your public shop and do your craft for your intended audience. I’m the background and let the real business people take the front and move forward.

If he comes into my place of business, I can now refuse to serve him, claiming religious convictions for refusing to serve people who hate gays.

Religious Freedom is worshipping how you choose. This is blantant discrimination based on sexual orientation. Next it will be I cannot serve you because you are Jewish or your Black. It will based on religion. Even Hitler was backed by the Christian right.

You won't change religious people who feel the way certain people live is a sin/act against god. You see these people as evil/bad, well they see you the same way. You have your way of thinking and they have theirs.

He said he would bake a cake for them, just not a wedding cake. This man has rights too. Don’t push your beliefs on someone else for publicity, have someone else bake the cake. Simple fix.
