Narrow Supreme Court ruling in favor of baker refusing to bake a wedding cake for a same-sex couple did not resolve whether other opponents of same-sex marriage, such as florists and photographers, can refuse commercial wedding services to gay couples.http://usat.ly/2xHgkjd

Yes ... by a whisker eh? 7-2 is not close. Not at all. USA Today shame on you.

So this also means a Jewish bakery can refuse to serve a Christian customer. And a Muslim business can refuse to serve Jewish or Christian customers etc. Does nobody see the pandora box that has been opened? It will continue to make America even more hateful.

7-2 is narrow? And you people wonder why no one takes you seriously anymore. Mainstream journalism is biased and dead.

Narrow mindedly would be more correct. Did they want a penis cake? Did they refuse a crucifix in the frosting? Go open a bakery at that FLDS compound in Colorado City.

no, the ruling wasn't 7-2. The vote was.

The ruling was narrow as it pertained to discrimination against Jack from the Colorado Civil Rights Commission. But the vote itself was not narrow. My comment was more about the ambiguity of the headline not that the media was skewing facts.

The vote was 7-2....how is that narrow? More deceptive news from the MSM.

"narrow" doesn't mean the vote tally in legal cases. It means the decision is narrowly applied and not a broad direction. In this case they were specific , or narrow, in who the decision applied to and how it should be interpreted

Surprised by basis of decision. Effectively rules against the prejudicial handling by Colorado Commission while basically leaving the hoped for ideological questions for another day. A one off rather than broad precedent.

NARROW RULING? Since when is 7-2 a narrow ruling?

narrow legal grounds, not the actual vote. Some times you have to actually read, not skim.
